Diana Kułakowska
A conservator of paintings and wooden sculpture, she graduated from the Faculty of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (degree awarded in 2017), where she now works as an assistant in the Department of Conservation of Easel Paintings on Movable Supports and Polychrome Wooden Sculpture.
In her professional practice, she works with both historical and contemporary easel painting as well as West African art. As a member of the Academy’s staff, she participated in a scientific and conservation project in northern Lebanon dedicated to the protection of medieval wall paintings from the time of the Crusades, as well as conservation work on ancient wall paintings in the Villa Arianna in one of the Vesuvian cities — Stabiae. She also runs a private conservation business, though she values cooperation and friendship far more than competition.
What she finds most compelling in conservation is investigative work and in-depth observation — a process built on asking countless questions and persistently searching for answers. She is convinced that works of art, much like people, always have fascinating stories to tell; one simply needs to ask the right questions and look closely for the answers. The guiding principle that accompanies her in her daily professional challenges is: “We see only what we know.” It is this idea that fuels her drive to continually expand her knowledge — and with it, her field of vision and understanding of the world.

Maciej Romanov
Creator of spatial installations, designer and director of artistic projects. He works across diverse techniques and materials — from metal, clay and textiles to light, sound and assemblage — creating installations that enter into dialogue with space, matter and the viewer. His works often take the form of multilayered structures inspired by the meeting of cultures and the contrast of forms.
He also develops the visual and emotional identity of brands, crafting cohesive visual narratives and brand feeling. In parallel, he designs original menswear, stage costumes and forms situated between fashion and performance. As an artistic director, he co-creates photo shoots, fashion shows, exhibition openings and performative events. He blends art, design and storytelling into a consistent, distinctive visual language.
